I want to buy a big screen … Help please!?
I want to buy a new flat screen for watching TV, and if possible, also use my PC for games. What is the best solution for my needs? Can you please explain what means the specification? LCD or Plasma? 1) LG Plasma 50 "- 1366×768 Res 2) LG LCD TV 42" – Resolution 1920×1080 They're both the same price. What the advantages and disadvantages of Plasma and LCD? Also, what about the spotlight for the game? Projectors can be left on for long periods time? … Say for days? What is the different between SVGA, XGA, WXGA? DLP or LCD? without really knowing what to buy to provide television quality and PC games? Im running I5-750, with the 9800GT … soon be upgraded to the GTX 285. PLEASE …. If you intend to use the computer with large screen HDTV, get the LCD. Plasmas are not good for viewing images for long periods of time (including a computer tends to do). If an image is left on a plasma screen, for a period of time, the image will be burned if you Standing on the screen. An LCD does not suffer from this problem. Get the 42 "LCD HDTV and connect with a DVI-HDMI or HDMI standard, if your vid card has a DVI or HDMI, respectively. In addition, the LCD you are considering has a higher resolution (1920×1080) to plasma (1366×768). Resolution higher level is a nice big screen.
