How to Fix a Rear Projection TV?
I have a 47" Samsung Tantus Rear Projection TV. It has red ghosting and red lines that curve off the sides, so I opened up the back and looked at the red projector, it is static looking, and has a red line going through the top half about 2" down, Is this a connection problem or something? or is it something that is not fixable without spending alot of money?
No doubt the Red convergence IC is defective.
Call several repair shops and see if they will give you a rough estimate.
