How do you set up a rear projection tv?
The organization I work for puts on outdoor events and they would like to put a tv screen on the side of our trailer so that people can see the announcements.(in this case, race results)
Given the trailer has a square hole in the side of it, what do I need and how can I set it up?
(I mean, do rear projection screens like da-lite make work for something like this? Is there any special set up for the placement of the projector itself? Will it show up good in bright conditions?)

You can buy a PROJECTOR and shine it from the INSIDE of your trailer...Cut a "window" in the side of the trailer and place a piece or "plexiglass" inside.
It's not just "plexiglass", obviously...You have to purchase the SAME layers of material that are used in those BIG SCREEN televisions.
You'll need to go down to a HOME THEATER SPECIALTY store to order some of this type of material...They do the same thing in peoples homes when the living room is TOO bright to set up a PROJECTOR normally.
They just build a CLOSET behind the wall with the TV so they can set up the PROJECTOR to shine out...Most projectors have a "mirror image" setting, so what you're showing looks right.
