Setup/Multi-System(PAL NTSC) question?
Hello, I am moving to Germany on a US military base. The cable tv provided has a RF jack in the wall that sends NTSC AND PAL which would require a multi-system tv. However, I have a front projector I would like to use, which has only hdmi, component and composite inputs. I understand I would need some kind of demodulator, tuner, but not sure exactly what I need. Also, I am curious would the output resolution be the same as the input, i.e. 480i 576i? Also, I assume composite output information is the same regardless if it is PAL or NTSC? Or would I still have a multi-system issue even after the demod/tuner?
I would feed this output into a external scaler, and then on to my projector. I am just curious if anyone has any hardware suggestions and if this is worth doing. Thanks!
I think you should consult the cable service provider. If I am not mistaken, this is their web site:
