Retail Touch Screen Information

Interactivity is "in" and a must in this age of social media and mobile connectivity. Due to the shifting sands of technology and the seemingly overwhelming lack of attention to their needs and communication preferences; consumers are venturing into the marketplace less and less and asking for more from retailers.

If a potential client asks us where the digital signage and display industry is going and how to stay on the forefront of it without getting caught up in the fads and "here today gone tomorrow" technologies, we always ask one question, "Do you really want to reach people in the way they can embrace?" The response we get is always a quizzical, "Yes!"

In order to maintain your customer base and gain new clients, you need to be open to changing with the times. If you want to continue to reach your clients effectively, look at things from their perspective.

Our society has been programmed with the Burger King, "have it your way" mentality and if you don't give them what they want they are quite confident that there is someone out there who will. Going interactive with your in-store and storefront marketing efforts will put you right in the center of their world and communication styles. Thus providing them the opportunity to interact with their social network about your store, products and experience right from your location.

This is the age of permission-based marketing, where most are quick to move past you and your sales pitch if they feel you have overstepped your bounds; there is no better way to befriend someone and gain their loyalty than to make them think that it was their idea in the first place.

As educated and technically savvy as this generation is, they still have the same common, inherent weaknesses and desires as the previous generation.

These are what businesses need to target in their marketing, yet they are hidden behind a wall that only the consumer can pull down - with your help, of course. A great way that you can accomplish this is to put the power into the customers hands and give them the control and power to make the decisions. Let them touch your marketing campaign -- literally.

More than reasonable it is also about time for you to let your customers interact with your marketing efforts. It will make your head spin and leave you wondering why you haven't yet done this.

Whether you are in a mall, stand-alone brick and mortar or a strip mall, you most likely have a piece of glass on your storefront. You can now take a portion of that glass and turn it into an interactive revenue-generator for you. Most transparent surfaces make for the perfect opportunity for your customers to educate themselves and completely sink their teeth right into your marketing without you ever asking them to.

Society today is addicted to touching and interacting with technology. You can feed the addiction and gain the clients, by applying a couple of layers of film inside your storefront window, mount a projector, connect the cables, upload your campaign and let the fun begin.

If you have any doubts as to the validity of this, go take a look at the surge of interest in Redbox and all the kiosk deployments that are available for the general public to interact with--unsupervised. You will soon be a believer.

People want to feel special and at the same time want to know that they are in control. At the same time, they want to enjoy the experience. Nothing is FREE, so give them what they want and in turn you can have what you want with a little help from their Kryptonite.

hi, i wanted to know the different kinds of projectors are there? which is the best one for someone 1st time buying a projector? but i wanna get the touch screens projector as well. is it worth getting one for someone who just wants to use it as a TV and how much does it cost? what makes it a touch screen the projector or the screen (like can you buy any projector but have to buy a certain kinds screens that makes it a touch screen or buy any screen but there must be certain kind of projector that makes it a touch screen)? and other thing is how much does it cost for for those ones that has a glass (instead of using the screens) in the center but you can see the picture very clearly from the projector? well anyways, i just wanna know the different kinds of projectors. like can i get all the best touch screens, or regular projectors that is best for TV that i can put my satellite and laptop cables in?

thanks

There's Front projection and rear projection....

Front is the ones you hang on your ceiling, Rear is the ones completely encased in a big giant box...

NEITHER can be touch screen, but you can buy an expensive remote control and pretend you're the touch-screen king of TV-Land if you want...

But I'd figure you'd rather pretend to be Chloe in the Watchtower with all her fancy display systems.
Her stuff is better than just plain old touchscreen.
