InFocus LP335 problems?

I recently had my boss walk into my office and set an InFocus LP335 (sound projector quite old) on the projector my office and say "do not work" no explanation, no complaint in depth. I have put in place and facing the wall and turn it on. It turns on, find AA and the signal is very good. for 86 seconds.then dies. After that, I can not start again unless you unplug the power cord and plug it into the problem has been repeated several times, and I went ahead and pulled the fans and vents and carefully dusted. I've never worked on a projector and know the basics but not much. Any help would be great, thank you!

There are probably some component that is released by SPEC (eg, spoiled, but not completely broken). It could be the light bulb, or it could be another part of the high voltage supply. There is probably a safety circuit that monitors voltages and close things when they are out of reach. Your first response, with fans and filters it was good because it is probably a circuit Security to monitor temperature. Unfortunately, no manual service, I do not know exactly what to check next. There seems to be a place that offers a service manual for the projector, so maybe you might want to check out.
