Things to consider when selecting an overhead projector

Even though using a digital overhead projector is easier than other projectors, choosing a particular overhead projector is a tough task. Can anyone find me a diagram of an overhead projector?
I can't seem to find a diagram of one of those classic overhead projectors. I googled for an overhead projector diagram and all that popped up were diagrams of those digital projectors.
