Are all 0.8:1 short throw projector lenses "on-axis" lenses?

I was setting up an Eiki LC-X5 LCD projector the other night, and we changed out the standard lens to a 0.8:1 short throw "on-axis" lens. Since the projector was front screen, on a table with the lens at the same height as the bottom of the screen, the image was pin cushioning after we tilted the projector up, raised the lens shift and keystoned. Since this lens required the projector to be placed at the same height as the center of the screen, it obviously wasn't the correct lens for the job.

I'm wondering if all of the 0.8:1 short throw lenses are "on-axis" lenses, or do they make a regular 0.8:1 short throw lens that could work with the projector at the same height as the bottom of the screen?

All Lenses are On-Axis, including those than can correct for Off-Axis use.
