Epson MovieMate 60 Portable Projector, DVD and music player combo (V11H319220)
S video problem and only 2 RCA connector from my Philips rear screen projectors?
I purchased a DVD/VCR combo unit for my mum. However when trying to connect to herTV Philips superscreen 41 model rear screen projector to this unit I am having difficuilties trying to connect this. It seem that the DVD/VCR need the RCA conecctors red,white ,yellow but her TV unit only has two audio,red and white and a S-video cable. I purchased the s -video cable but I can only see the DVD movie throught the AV1 but not the video as it is requiring the yellow video RCA lead. What do I do. Is there some sort of a special spliter that I can buy? I need help please.
You may be forced to get a Video to RF modulator so you can use Channel 3 for the picture and sound.
The S video connector is designed to keep the color separated from the Black and White portion of the signal...since the DVD has both combined, it's hard to separate the signals again. And expensive too.....
The RF modulator is available at RADIO SHACK if thats what it's called in the UK....
Or try an electronics store that may have specialized in KIT building...or just a store that sells Tellys...
