Understanding Different Tv Technologies

HDTV or High Definition Television is basically a digital format. My panasonic projector tv is yellow at the bottom?
I just bought a 50in panasonic projection tv. And it fires right up. No problem. No codes go off on the board. And i have just had it cleaned internally. But i have a yellow haze at the bottom. What could it be. It's nothing to do with the mirrors. I can see the yellow come out of the projection part. Don't know if it could be my bulb or something else.
The blue gun is missing the bottom of the screen. Check the Menu and see if there is a "Convergence" setting, and follow the on-screen instructions. If not, it needs repair (if feasible).
