Can somebody please giv me some basic information about a projector?
Ok so i want to buy a not so expensive projector and i need to know the basics of what i am looking. for. what do i use to connect it to my pc? my wall that i want it to display on is 3m away. what should i be looking for?

Here are some specifications you should be looking for:
1. At least a "native" contrast ratio of at least 2000:1 which is the movie standard for most DVDs;
2. A DLP projector since LCD's often have softened images in an attempt to lessen the "screendoor effect."
3. A DLP projector with at least a 4X speed color wheel. Any slower speed color wheel will allow the appearance of the "rainbows."
4. Replacement bulbs should be long lasting [up to 3,000 hours in the econ mode] and be fairly inexpensive. Any replacement bulb costing more than $400 is expensive!
5. Service warranty centers should be nearby, preferably in the U.S.A.
