I want to bring a laptop and projector camping. I have a 700 watt inverter. What kind of battery should I get, and how long will it run my equipment?
You're really roughing it, aren't you? 
Depends on the wattage of your projector, most are 200 watts or more. That's going to run down a car battery in a hurry.
You'll want a deep-cycle marine battery with a 100 amp-hour rating. That will just barely get a 200 watt projector and 75 watt laptop through a movie. Here's a page with a calculator:

To be practical, you should look into one of the new LED projectors, also called Pico projectors. They use less than 50 watts, enough to get through a double feature.
