Bare Bulb installation guide for the Optoma EP719

Projector VGA out won't work! help!?

Im having trouble getting my projector(optoma EP719) to use the VGA Output. I have my LCD (BenQ FP91G+) hooked up to the VGA output from my projector. Powered both devices on and the lcd displays No Signal detected. The projector has video but won't output the video to my lcd. Ive tried adjusting the resolution of the projector to 1024x768 and still no video output to the lcd. Any help figuring this out would be appreciated.

is it so that you can see through the lcd screen aswell as the projected image.if so the input signal must be the same as the output signal
for instance if the input to projector is hdmi then the output to lcd must be hdmi as they are both digital streams
if the input is vga the output must be vga to lcd
digital to digital or analogue to analogue you can not input digital and output analogue
