Gigaware Micro Projector Unboxing and Review
Any ideas for a 30 minute photograhy lesson?
It is for a one off micro teach. I basically have nothing! No cameras, no photoshop. It is for 8 students. All non photographers. Do have digital projector. I really wanted to do something practical? Any ideas?
Well, you don't say that you have no expeerience - just no equipment for the class.
To me, the first thing a point and shoot user needs to learn is to take a meter reading from the main subject and recompose, if necessary. Center up the main subject, do a half-press of the shutter button to lock the meter and focus, recompose, completely press the shutter to take the picture. That solves a lot of the typiucal problems.
The next thing that helps is to learn about changing to "sunny" or "tungsten" instead of "Auto" white balance. Don't forget to put it back on auto when you put the camera away, though.
