Vga or Dvi Splitter Device?
Ive seen display set ups that use multiple monitors to display one big image, i was wondering what device i would need to do this. I've seen this done with a macbook pro connected to a box and it had three outputs that went to three projectors that made one big panoramic image. If anyone has any idea what such device is called please tell me, thank you.
I know for a desktop computer yes, but this guy was using a macbook pro, one video out, set to a high resolution, then split into 3 seperate video signals, Left - Center- Right, and it made a huge panorama display with 3 projectors

Those things are NOT cheap though.
The first guy is right, by the way. The best way to run triple monitors is on a full-size desktop PC using a DisplayPort-equipped ATI HD5000-series card like the HD5870.
With a GPU as powerful as the HD5870, running triple monitors in Eyefinity mode (spanning one screen over three monitors) is far smoother than doing it on a laptop with a relatively weak GPU and an external extender box like the Triplehead2Go.
