Shopping for a projector may sound easy, given the number of projectors available in the market. Setting up Projector on PC?
I am having some problems setting up my projector with my PC. This is the first time I am doing it on my PC. On my laptop, it is pretty easy. I just plug into the VGA port and then it works.
However, on my PC, my graphics card has two ports. One DVI and one VGA. My LCD monitor is using the DVI port. I plugged the projector VGA port into my graphic card VGA port but the projector doesn't show the image of my monitor.
Is there anything I have to setup on my PC or plug off anything before getting the projector to work on it?

I just tried plugging off the DVI plug, which is connected to my LCD monitor, from my PC. I had only the VGA plug connected to the PC and projector and it still doesn't work.
The projector comes with only a VGA plug and it has only two VGA ports at its back. One is PC1 Input and the other is PC1 Output/PC2 Input. It does not support DVI.
I am running on a Radeon graphic card.
Use the 'source' button on the projector's (remote) control. Let the projector search for the input device {VGA}.
Or just turn it OFF and ON again. It will detect your PC automatically.
