How to make DIY LCD projector with overhead and screen?

I have the overhead projector (OHP) coming thru the post, I want to make a movie projector out of it using an LCD screen like this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=b7lWqKHpGuc

the trouble I have understanding is the part where you install the thing! how do you do it? that guide is one off many and the best i can find! the bit you watch it for is MISSING! so if anyone has made one of these I would like to know how to connect the screen to the socket where you plug the vga cable into.

also guides say there are 2 types that might mess things up.. one has ribbons or something where you have to solder new connection extensions, where can i find out which screens are compatible? can i buy a replacement screen and that is all?
what i mean by replacement is could I buy this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=230307002804#ht_663wt_0 and need nothing more? apart from vga cable and power

They kept the electronics that go with the screen and have the vga plugs on it. So, you just plug it in the same way you would if it had a cabinet around it. Any screen (that fits on the overhead) should work. Don't expect it to look very good, but it should work.
