HD TV projector, do they work with HD?
I have a Mitsubishi HDTV projector exactly like this one http://img.tomshardware.com/us/2005/03/14/digital_tv/mitsubishi-hdtv.jpg
On the front panel it says HD1080 but doesn't specify if its "i" or "p". Its a few years old and was wondering if I got an HD receiver from Dish Network, would it look good on it.
I have a (what I consider to be) real HDTV in my room, a samsung lcd 1080p, Im sure it will look great on that but the big 65" mitsubishi is in the living room and just wondering if that will look good. There is a big difference in color/contrast on that big tv than in the samsung, so im unsure.

Most anything coming out of a Dish Network receiver would be interlaced so you should be fine in any event.
It's probably going to look as good as your other set. Satellite and Cable providers heavily compress their video to make room for more channels. So, the satellite link would be where most of the quality loss would come, not the TV.
