Align LCD chips on Projector?
I have a NEC MT850 Projector which i think the LCD chips have became unaligned, when i use it i get a picture that looks like a 3d movie without wearing the 3d glasses, it does it on every input and the projectors setup menu, there isnt any options in the setup to align them,
Would i be able to take the casing fully off the projector and realign the LCD chips myself? And where are they located?
No, there are no alignments or adjustments to fix your problem….
If you dropped the unit, it can misalign the LCD panels, but I suspect your Dichroic lens has separated…and if it has, NEC should replace it…..
Not you….NEC….Give them a call and get it shipped to them for service…
Believe me, you don’t want to damage your TV set….
