Projectors have transform the multimedia world and have become a must have product as consumers look to have the latest technology. The technology in these projectors allows you to zoom in on an image and then projecting it onto a flat surface meaning more people can see the picture. Projectors come into two different formats which are the LCD and the DLP. LCD means Liquid Crystal Display and DLP means Digital Light Processing. LCD projectors produce pulsating colurs and crystal clear images whereas the DLP has a higher lumens output. The weight of a DLP projector is about three pounds or less.
The choice of which projector (LCD or DLP) you decide to purchase is down to what you will use it for. Delivering presentations is much better using a LCD projector. If you have moving images, movies and audio presentations, then it is best to get a DLP projector.
If you are going to be using the projector in different locations, then the DLP is the much better consideration due to its size and weight.
Projectors have different modes of quality outputs due the various models having different specifications and capabilities. Projectors that have the highest lumens will offer the much more crystal clear images.
When making your decision in buying a projector, it is important to consider the image clarity that will be projected. Higher resolutions and brightness means it will output sharper images. This information can usually be found within the product information as provided by the manufacturers. This will give the best idea on which kind of device can generate the best output for you.

Desktop resolution automatically resets when using projectors and LCD monitors w/ XP. How can I stop it?
I have been replacing CRTs with LCDs, but the resolution keeps resetting itself to the max (1280x1024). I can change it back to what I want, but it will go back again. Now I have projectors doing the same thing. There must be a way to force XP to keep a particular resolution in opposition to the manufacturer's recommended settings. Has anyone else seen this? Have you found a fix for it?
I have the latest hardware drivers for the video card and the monitor. If there is a registry hack, what would it be?
This normally happens when the drivers for your video card are not the correct ones.
Have a look at them and make sure they are the correct ones for your graphics card.
If they are not, go to the manufacturers site and get the right ones and install
them.
I went to start settings Control panel Display Settings Advanced Adapter
.... and hit the change button. From memory, I got a dialog box that asked me if
i wanted the system to search for the latest driver or if I wanted to specify one
myself. I chose the first option, after making sure that I had the "Product recovery
and diagnostics CD Rom" which came with the computer, in the drive.
The system chugged and whirred and said it was finished and would have to restart
and when it did - you beauty! - it was back on Hi-color 1800x600! What I think happened
was that when it went into "Safe Mode" I remember it saying that it only loaded the
minimum of drivers, so when I restarted from there I had lost my video driver.
If this doesn't solve your problem at least you can cross this off your list of possible
faults.
