Why is my computer's screen blank?
I have a 6-year-old Dell Latitude D600. Last night the screen went black. I could barely make out the information on the screen after this happened but I had to tilt the computer a little to even see anything. I hooked the computer up to a projector, and it projected fine so it is not a hard drive issue. I am wondering if this is a problem with the back light, LCD itself, other, or combo of some of these?
The computer was on. I am not a moron.
Yes the backlight in your monitor is out. Probably best to just get a new monitor.
