whats the difference between LCD and DLP?
in terms of projectors? i used a DLP once and it caused rainbow effects but the picture was pretty good.i heard LCD are much smoother but with some you can see the pixels and it creates a screen door effect..i seen some deals on EBAY on LCDs and was just curious...
PROJECTORS as in home theater projectors NOT projection tvs or moniters.

lcd projection has the screen door effect the new dlp have faster color wheels faster mirrors and you might not see they rainbow effect anymore i would buy the dlp over lcd ! both use bulb that needs to be replaced they last about 6000 hours, replacement costs about 200 -300 dollars
