Projector bulb blowup
Projector shuts off after about 30 minutes of use...what could be the problem?
I have an Infocus projector which has only been used for about 150 hrs. When I power it up, it works okay for about half and hour, then shuts off. The tech support guy told me to take out the bulb and shake it, but this did not fix it. What could be the problem?
Sounds like thermal overload - does it get really hot?
Make sure that it is properly ventilated. You may need to dismantle it and remove dust or whatever from the fans/heatsinks.
