Is an Infocus LP540 Projector (1700 lumen's) bright enough to see in a bright room?
I am wondering if I need to get the lp640, because it has 2200 lumens, or just stick with the lp540, should I?
It depends on what you mean exactly by bright. If you mean bright enough that you can read a book while watching TV then yes it is plenty bright enough.

UPDATE: Flipcan has no clue what he's talking about. All 3 of my setups look outstanding with enough light to read by and none are over 1000 lumen. I hate when people give out misinformation. I'd love to know his source.
