Homemade star projector?
I'd like to try and make my own star projector, similar to those astro star things-

has anyone made their own before? i don't need it to be accurate or anything. from the things i've read online, it seems as though an LED bulb is used for these, but i'm not sure what to do about the actual star panels. maybe i'm completely wrong on the simplicity of these though. any advice?
You can use stellarium through a projector and aim it on a dome. There are instructions for this on the web.
