SHARP CUTOFF 8000k HID Projector Headlight Conversion - 01 Chevy Tahoe

Is it worth installing HID lights even though I do not have projector head lights?

I have a 2007 scion tc. I love the car, but want more light output and of course a better look. I understand that not having projector headlights will not give me a "cutoff" look and by having a reflective housing glare is inevitable. This is where I am stuck. I have looked into the Sylvania Ultra Stars but am still skeptical. If I did get HIDs I would go for the 5000k set. Thanks for your help!
Thanks for the advice yall. I have considered purchasing projector lights but, I do not have the money to buy both HIDs and projector headlights. I have heard you can by HID glare shield. Does anyone know anything about this?

I do strongly advice to get projector with your HID's , because there is a chance you might get pulled over for not having projector headlights with your HID's, because of the glare that HID kits cause with stock headlights. If you do buy an HID Kit first, and later on you want to upgrade to projector headlights you will have to get a second kit to match the projectors because the bulb size changes, and you would end up spending more money in the end. My advice would be to buy projector headlights first which will give you the cutoff and look you were looking for, and then buy an HID Kit, or buy them together, and possibly get a discount.
