Does adding a second ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT to my Mac enhance the graphics?

We have a Mac Pro that we just bought. It is in use at a church which has two large screens and the primary monitor. The video hooks up fine and both projectors and shoots out a nice picture, but at times I notice it does get a bit laggy. We have an extra ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT taken from a different Mac Pro. Would installing that enhance the video we get? There won't be anything hooked up to it, I'm just hoping for an SLI kind of deal, although I'm aware that you cannot run Crossfire on a Mac as of yet.

If adding this card would help the video, what do I need to do to install it? Do I just need to pop it in and go? Or is there more to the story?

Thanks all in advance!!

not possible. it only has one pci-e 16x slot on its motherboard. If you want better graphics your only option is to upgrade the video card.
