How to EASILY connect laptop to house projector?
I use an Epson Moviemate DVD/ projector combo to watch movies in the living room. Whenever I want to share an iTunes or YouTube video clip with the family, it involves moving my laptop to the coffee table and plugging in s-video and sound separately. Not only that, but I have to fiddle with the soundcard level and use the built-in touchpad mouse which really infuriates me.
Is there any kind of solution for this? What I'm thinking of preferably uses software to send a live stream of the desktop via wifi. The receiver box would then plug into the projector while also being able to handle a remote mouse and/or keyboard. (Note: I'm only looking for a decent s-video signal, nothing approaching the computer screen's resolution.)
