Cinego D-1000 Multimedia Projector - shtuts down after 10 minutes.. why?
I have a d-1000 cinego w/ dvd player hd video projector.
First, for some reason out of the 6 dvds I have , it only plays 1 of them, the others, it doesn't even read the disc ( what i mean by that is the cd doesnt spin ). When it plays the one I want it to play, it only plays for 10-15 minutes and it shuts off on its own.
Someone told me I should clean the air filter, but how would I do so? I don't want to ruin something I paid so much for.

It's difficult to say from your description. Is it the DVD player that stops, or does the projector turn off instead/as well? Also, are the DVDs commercial ones or copies?
In terms of the projector, if it shuts down it could well be because it is running too hot. Either air intake ports may be blocked some way or the foam filter usually present to keep out dust may be plugged. Follow the instructions for cleaning/replacing the filter.
If it's the DVD player (and you are using commercial disks) you probably have a problem needing service. If it's under warranty take it in.
If the DVDs are copies they may not be readable by the player .. but usually you should get some type of "disk error" message.
