I have a Viewsonic PJ 458 D projector mounted from the roof of my shed, onto a screen at the end wall, it was working fine for the 1st 3 weeks, then last week when I went to turn up the volume, it made a loud droning noise and the picture & sound disappeared, however this week when doing the same thing the picture starts distorting and then the picture & sound disappear.
I have tried another DVD player and it did the same, so that rules out the source, it can only be either the stereo I have it all connected to or the projector, has anyone alse encountered this or similar problems, and if so what can I do to remedy it? thanks.
