Im about to get a acer pd100s projector as a gift. can i use this projector for home cinema?

Yes u can use this projector for home cinema.
the only thing u should take care is of lighting of ur home..
bcoz this projector do not produce as bright image as other can.
plus this projectors lumens rating is also low.
but still it is one of the better model in the market
