I was wondering if I have to zoom the picture to fit the projection screen, does that affect the image quality? Im talking about a picture that is 67" at Zoom = 1x and making it 120" at
a Zoom level of 1.8x.
No, it doesn't affect the quality as long as your projector is equipped with a optical zoom lens (not digital). Just remember, magnifying anything is just THAT, so if your projector has a XGA resolution of 1024 pixels by 768 pixels, you pixel count doesn't change. In actuality, your pixels getting bigger as you zoom out/enlarge the image. Keep in ming that you will need to sit further back from the screen, otherwise you will start seeing "enlarged" pixels.
