question on HD dvd players...?
is there a big difference between 1080i HD and 1080p HD? the 1080i HD dvd players I can find for a decent $220ish while the 1080p ones are a ridiculous $500-1000! Isn't that nuts?! I have an upscale dvd player 720p/1080i player right now mated with a 720p/1080i DLP projector that displays a beautiful 120 inch image on my wall.Never even seen a true HD 1080i/p player in my life other then the upscale player I got.Are they worth it? and would I be okay with the 1080i HD or should I save up and break the bank with the true 1080p HD??
My projector can display 1080i or 1080p- its slightly compressed,though at this size it's really hard to tell anyways.

IF you had a 1080p projector, a HD DVD or Blu-Ray player capable of 1080p and blu-ray or HD DVD program material projected on a 80" or larger screen you would see a difference from 1080i ... small, but a difference.
Since you don't don't worry about it. Your equipment won't allow you to see any improvement from 1080p disks/players.
There ... saved you some money.
